I used to think that a workout was only good if it was high intensity cardio and/or lasted 45-60 minutes. But those types of workouts left me feeling depleted and exhausted all day. Now, I have a different approach with the goal that my movement session leaves me feeling energized, strong, flexible and capable. And as women, it benefits our bodies to cycle sync workouts to keep our hormones balanced and happy (learn a little more here).
So most of the time, my workout looks a little something like this new flow. It gets the energy moving and activates all muscle groups for a well-rounded and enjoyable movement session.
