Another month, another fun Sage Glow Quiz! Miss last month's? Check it out here.

This month I'm excited to introduce you to Jasmine Huffine of one of my favorite online destinations for cruelty-free products. Being immersed in the all-natural industry, you know she's got all the good recommendations! Read on to get some extra glowy tips and see why I was jamming to the Moana soundtrack while prepping this.

Name: Jasmine Huffine

What do you do? Marketing Manager for Petit Vour

Where do you live? Austin, Texas (live music capital of the world!)

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up? I wish I could say something inspiring like “meditate” but I’m just not there, yet. The first thing I do when I wake up is grab a few gulps of of water and then check my phone to see what’s going on in the world. I’ll check my email, skim a few news stories, and breeze through Instagram to read the tempo for the day.

What’s your morning ritual? I like to work out in the mornings so I’ll either go for a run or head to Pilates. After that I make my tea and take my dogs for a walk. Once I’m showered and ready for the day, I’ll make my breakfast smoothie and head out to the door. I like to listen to either NPR or a podcast on my way to work because it gets me in a focused headspace and gets my brain going.

What’s your bedtime ritual? This one varies, but is long and lovely either way. Sometimes I wind down with a homemade golden (almond) milk tea. That always makes me sleepy right away. I really can’t stand waking up to a cluttered house in the morning so I’ll pick up a bit to make sure that nothing major is left undone and everything is ready to start the new day. Then I go through my skincare ritual. I’ll wash and exfoliate my face with May Lindstrom’s The Pendulum Potion (seriously, an amazing discovery) followed up by Osea’s Blemish Balm over my entire face (gotta love having combination skin!) and from time to time add a light oil. When I remember to I’ll massage these in with the jade roller I keep in my refrigerator.

Can’t live without: My husband and my water bottle, though of course not to the same degree.  :)

Workout of choice: Running! If my body agreed to it, I’d run every day because it makes me feel so great from the inside out. It clears my head and always, always, always lifts my spirits.

Talk beauty products: what are your daily go-to’s? Where to begin??! Ahhh I have so many favorites. Okay, daily usage: Little Barn Apothecary Charcoal & Aloe Cleanser, May Lindstrom The Pendulum Potion, Osea Blemish Balm, FitGlow Vita-Active Foundation, Red Apple Lipstick The Lash Project and 100% Pure Liquid Eyeliner. I also keep blotting papers in my bag with Vitamin C & E (Mai Couture) as well as Alima Pure Pressed Foundation—it’s my favorite compact powder EVER because it sinks into your skin and doesn’t look cake-y. It also doesn’t clog your pores which is absolutely essential.

Signature uniform: Honestly, I don’t really have one. I tend to dress like how I’m feeling that day, unless I have a specific type of engagement I need to dress for. Some days I’m super feminine, other days I’m in a slouchy sweater, but one thing I can say is that 99% of the time, jeans are involved.

No-fail smoothie combo: I rotate between a few, but in each I always use blueberries, a banana, a plant-based protein powder (WelleCo’s Super Elixir is soooo yummy!) spirulina, hemp seeds, flax seeds, aloe vera juice, and spinach or kale.

5 things always in your pantry: Alyssa’s vegan cookies, avocados, hummus, literally 38 different types of tea, dark chocolate almonds.

Favorite snack: Chips & guac!

Favorite local restaurant: The Whip In. It’s one of the most creative little spots in Austin. They serve true Indian food and also Indian/American fusion and it’s all soooo delicious. It’s a very laid back place. You walk up to order your food then grab a beer or glass of wine at the wine bar or sit down at a table to watch the next live artist. They also have a huge patio so you can bring your dog, too. The Whip In is constantly changing their business model so you never really know what new adventure you’ll encounter when you walk through their doors. It’s always fun!

Beach or mountains? Beach, always beach!

Favorite place in the world: I’ve been so lucky to have traveled to some amazing places in this beautiful world and have had some memorable experiences. But, would it be cheesy if I said my favorite place is at home with my husband and my dogs snuggled up in bed? I’m at my best when I can truly relax because I know my little family is happy and safe with me. Other than that, I’m a big fan of Maui.

Usually on your Spotify: The Allah las, Radiohead, Washed Out, Lana del Rey, Moana soundtrack

Favorite blogs or websites: Well + Good, Design Love Fest, Melissa Wood Health, Petit Vour!

Favorite indulgence: Getting a facial or a massage. Tawny port.

Weirdest beauty or health trick: I put pure argan oil on the ends of my hair before I work out. It shields my hair from anything that might dry it out, i.e., sweat (I know, gross!).

Who or what inspires you? The founders of Petit Vour, Madeline and Ryan. I’ve never seen anybody work as hard as they do and I’ve certainly never experienced their level of dedication. They prove to me every day that motivation can come from wanting to change the world for the better.

How do you spread love in your world? I think that there are so many ways to do this but the only true and solid way for me is to make time to be there. You have to show up. I try really hard to schedule my time in such a way that I can be there for my family, friends, co-workers and puppies because they mean the world to me and I know that they depend on me.
